Yep, it's small, it's messy, but I'm definitely happiest here.
The nice thing about working in jewelry is how little space I actually need for all the tools and equipment I use. The danger is in collecting too many small tools and findings — like most artists I'm like a kid in a candy store. The big challenge is keeping it all organized!
The photo above is my polymer station and the cubbies are where I place my inventory, my finished pieces. I could use about twice as much table top space as I currently have.
To the right is my bench. I'll be doing a lot of sawing in the coming weeks — I'm creating some new one-of-a-kind pieces, stay tuned, hopefully have some images to share by end of April.
The image below is my soldering station, pickle and tumbling, selected for its proximity to the window, essential for keeping fresh air flowing. And finally, the image at the bottom shows my polishing and rolling equipment.
I could definitely use a few more square feet of space but so far this works for me!
