I have been developing these pod shapes for quite a while and I'm excited to finally show them. It occurred to me in the last month that I should explore gemstones, crushing them and using them as materials for inlays.
I've discovered there's so much to love about gemstones—especially their natural beauty and the way they catch the light! I am enjoying the sculptural rock texture, the contrast against the smooth silver, but at this point anything can happen as I explore the possibilities. The best part is I'm having fun exploring something new! You'll soon see much more and I would love to know what you think of these.
