Turning 55 can be very motivating. Between having 55 years of gathered wisdom along with the realization that we're not getting any younger, we can find ourselves at the crossroad between acting on our deeper passions and desires, or continuing the slow progression towards retirement—whatever that means. I'm sure there are many grey areas in between, no right or wrong way to go.
Many of you already know that jewelry designing is my encore career, meaning, a career that's typically motivated by social impact and a sense of personal fulfillment rather than economic factor, and I began the new adventure at exactly that magical age of 55.
So, here we area, now 5 years into in and in the middle of a pandemic no less! And while the COVID effects on my motivation have been felt, and you haven't heard from me in a while, I continue to create, to evolve into new areas of design. I will be talking more about what I am currently engaged in before the end of 2020, so stay tuned!
